brand kit

The mark, the palette, the typography and the rules for using them.

The brand is a low-poly mark, a banded sky and a risograph grain. Those three elements are the whole system; everything else follows from them.

The mark

A low-poly fish: a triangular tail on the left, a rounded square body, a pointed diamond head on the right, and a small dark green eye. Its facets radiate from a single point at the waist where the tail meets the body — that fan is the structure of the mark, and it is why the facets can be recoloured without the mark losing its identity.

The mark is defined once, as geometry, and rendered from that definition everywhere: as an extruded 3D mesh in the hero, as flat SVG in the navigation, and as the favicon. There is no separate "logo file" that can drift from the others.

Do: place it on the banded sky, on cream, or on the deep forest ground. Keep clear space of at least half the mark's height on every side.

Don't: recolour it outside the palette below, add an outline, rotate it past a few degrees, or stretch it. It is asymmetric by design — the head always faces right.

The vertical order matters as much as the colours. The banded sky runs vermilion at the top through amber, violet and pink to cream at the horizon, with the deep forest ground beneath it. That ground band represents the protection reserve, and across the site it rises as the visitor scrolls.

Typography

RoleTypefaceUsage
HeadlinesInstrument SerifLowercase, tight tracking, high contrast
Body and UIGeistSentence case, regular and medium weights
Numbers and addressesGeist MonoTabular figures, wide tracking for labels

Headlines are always lowercase. The tagline — covered by design. — is set in the serif, lowercase, with the full stop.

Grain

Every surface carries a risograph grain, applied as an overlay so it textures the colour beneath without dulling the text above it. The grain is stronger over the sky and quieter across the docs. It is part of the identity, not a decorative filter: the brand should never appear as flat vector colour.

Voice

Corporate, calm and institutional. A private bank that happens to be a design studio.

The vocabulary is fixed: protection, coverage, reserve, loss event, settlement. Losses are not dramatised, capacity is not overstated, and limitations are stated in the same tone as capabilities.
